From 2015 to 2022, we provided end-to-end assistance in setting up a PowerSpot Kenya, which included company registration and ensuring all statutory documents were in compliance with government requirements. We also helped source suitable office premises and vetted and sourced suitable human resources for the company. In terms of business development, we helped establish strategic linkages with key institutions to roll out products to remote off-grid areas of Kenya. Powerspot successfully tied up with Kenya Women Finance Trust bank to procure 5,000 thermoelectric generators and secured a deal with Chai Sacco. IBC Africa was also instrumental in setting up a factory in Kakamega for the production of green fuel for clean cook stoves. Our team played a major role in the construction and commissioning of the facility and ensured compliance with county government regulations. Additionally, we continue to provide smooth operations of the business and represented the company in meetings with decision-makers.
